Cool Mom Hack: If Your Son Asks You To Go To Coachella You Go

If your grown-up son asks you to join him at Coachella, you go. Plus, who doesn't want to be a cool mom? Here's a mom and business professional version of Coachella experience. Number 1 Coachella fashion. Oh my god, 80% of attendees are Gen Z and millennials. I literally just pay attention to how they dress. Many dress like the performance they go there to see such as Charli XCX, The Beaches, Blackpink's Lisa and Jennie. So Brat, if you know what I'm talking about or you love Charlie's Brat Summer song. So Coachella is a great place for people watching. Next one, Coachella camping. Some folks have clearly been doing this for years. Tents, canopies full on setup for camping was excellent. They create their own cozy cribs. I walk around and check out their cribs. I was like, what's in that? One of the biggest drawbacks though is to using port-a-potties and the shower trailers. You know how it is. Oh my god. Good or bad it's all part of experience and you embrace it all. Next, Coachella Music. The lineup was great. My ears were ringing for two days after the three-day festival. I enjoyed Post Malone, Lady Gaga, the Go-Go's, Wheezer, Green Day and the Blackpink's Lisa and Jennie's performances. I listened to awesome EDM from Zedd, modern jazz from Laufey, hard punk from the Canadian band The Beaches. You know, I listened to all of them the first time, loved them. This is a great festival to go to expose yourself to different types of music. But here's what I would do and not do. I would skip the VIP passes. I don't think it's worth the extra dollars. Number two, wear comfy shoes. You will walk for miles between stages. Some girls wear beautiful shoes to match their outfits. I was like, don't do that girls, don't do that. Camping is great if you are young for my age. I think I would opt in for Airbnb next time. I was so happy I did it though with my son and his friends. Lastly, go with a group, a big group. My son and his friends made this round of fun so unforgettable. If you have never done Coachella and love music, you should definitely do it once.
