Here are five fun facts I bet you didn't know about the Lamborghini Countach. The first fact being that the Lamborghini Countach was made over a 15 year production run from 1974 to 1989. And because of that, it came in a lot of different variants over that time period. With this Countach from Curated being a 5000QV, meaning it has four valves per cylinder. The second fun fact is that later Countaches could be fuel injected or carbureted and you can tell by the rear decklid. If the rear decklid is completely flat or has one single bump in the middle, it would be a carbureted car. But if it has these two bumps on the sides right here, that means it's a fuel injected car. So this is a fuel injected 5000QV. The third fun fact is that although the Countach is known for its iconic fender flares, the original design of the car did not feature them whatsoever. It wasn't until Formula One team owner Walter Wolf bought a Countach and added his own fender flares that other Countach clients demanded Lamborghini add them to their cars because it looks so good. And for the fourth fun fact, there's also the wing on the Countach that Walter Wolf also added onto the design. But the fourth fun fact is that the Countach's wing is actually completely zeroed out in regards to downforce and actually only creates drag. But since it looks so cool and so many clients demanded it, Lamborghini added the wing but zeroed it out so that it wouldn't create any downforce. It's just there to look cool.
