Here are five fun facts I bet you didn't know about the Lamborghini Diablo SV.

The first fun fact about the Diablo SV is that this car became as rear-wheel drive only as opposed to some other Diablos that were all-wheel drive. And because it didn't need those all-wheel drive components, Lamborghini actually priced it as the most affordable Diablo that they offered. So this was actually the entry point for Diablos in regards to price. The second fun fact actually comes if you look at the little windshield wipers right here, and you notice that there's a little bit of carbon aero on these. And that's actually required to give the windshield wipers some downforce because it would go flying off at over 100 miles an hour if you didn't have them. And each little piece costs about $800 to $1,000 to replace, so don't lose them. The third fun fact about the Diablo SV is that you will see the SV decals all throughout the car, with the giant graphics on the sides, a little decal on each wheel, one on the rear grille, and you'll even find one embroidered onto the headrest inside the car. The fourth fun fact is that it has this big fixed wing on the back end, but if you look closely, you can see that it is just the tiniest bit adjustable, with about an inch of wing that can actually be flipped up. And the last fun fact about the SV is that it was offered in 1998 and 1999. Now there's one easy way to tell the difference on the two cars. Now the early Diablo SV from 1998 like this car here, you'll see it has pop-up headlights with a color-matched panel right here, whereas if it's a late model 1999 SV, it will have open exposed headlights, which is the iconic Nissan headlights that were used on the Diablo platform.
