This is the Peel P50 and it was the world's smallest production car. It was made in the 1960s by a fiberglass company on the Isle of Man. Who want to take their experience in building boat hulls and develop a small single-seater passenger vehicle. And because it is so small and lightweight, there are certain things that you give up for the experience, such as reverse gear. Instead, you will find a handle on the back which you are expected to grab, pick up, and move the car because it's so lightweight. However, you do get these little rubber bumpers in case you get into a tight spot. And on it you will only find one door, one windshield wiper, one seat, one mirror, one headlight, and three wheels. However, don't expect to go on any highways because the P50 only has a top speed of 25 miles an hour, which it gets out of a single-cylinder two-stroke motor. If you take a look at the inside, you'll see there are not many frills with the seat looking more like a metal beach chair than anything made for comfort. Along with a large steering wheel and a three-speed manual transmission, it also has the tiniest exhaust pipe I've ever seen on any car. The P50 only cost about $500 when new in the 1960s. Only roughly 50 P50s were ever made for the entire world, with this one being on public display at the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, Tennessee.
