Here are a few things before you drive a Lamborghini Gallardo. This is an early Lamborghini Gallardo powered by a 5.0-liter V10 engine. One of the easiest ways to tell that at a glance is the headlights. These have these tall headlights. Later series LP Gallardo will have headlights about half of this size. And before you can drive you will need your key which looks like this and flips out just like that. And in order to get inside just hit unlock on the button just like that and then pull on the door handle right here just like this and that will unveil the interior. Now one quick note that this specific car does have an aftermarket carbon fiber steering wheel but I do think it looks fantastic on the inside. And we hop into the driver's seat and pull on this big handle right here to close the door. We'll be snug inside the car. Now one thing you'll notice is that this is an E-Gear transmission car meaning it is a single clutch flappy paddle transmission just like this. And that allows you to actually put the car in automatic if you want and it'll do all the shifting for you. Or if you want to have more control you can change the gears just with the push of these levers. However some cars did come with a gated 6-speed manual transmission but this car did not. Now you can't start the car with it just being inside, you do have to flip it out and put it inside the keyhole right down in here. And then we put our foot on the brake and turn that over. You want to turn it over halfway in order for the fuel pump to prime and get started. And then after the beeps here finish, you can turn it over and you'll hear that V10 fire up. And it sounds fantastic. But now if you actually want to drive the car, first thing you'll need to do is that if you look forward you can see that we are currently in neutral. In order to change that we've hit this pedal right here and that will put us into first gear. And once we've done that we can put our handbrake down. But just like that you're ready to set off and drive the Lamborghini Gallardo!
