So just coming out this week

So just coming out this week, Apple and Google have agreed to a partnership. I think it is the biggest partnership we have ever seen in AI. Basically, Apple has chosen Google to power the next version of Siri. Essentially, all the Google models are going to be in all the Apple devices. It's going to be the large language model that is deep rooted in Siri to make a more intelligent iPhone. Now, obviously, this is a major loss for OpenAI. OpenAI had a early relationship with Apple in 2024 coming out of the gates of this AI revolution. but it doesn't look like it's paying off. Apple has turned around. It chose Google as the preferred model. Honestly, it's so pretty surprising to me that Apple is deciding to not develop any of their own large-language models. Some could argue that the large-language model is going to be the most important element of future hardware devices. And it seems like Apple is taking the bet that they're going to lean on Google for the foreseeable future. Honestly, this is the first sign of life from Apple that they are still innovating and pushing towards an AI future. This new version of series is expected to come out later this year. And I'd imagine the LLM is intertwined with every application on your phone. So you give a pretty agressive experience. It looks like the future of AI at Apple is going to be pretty reliant on Google.
