this is just a friendly reminder that if you're engaging in pro Palestinian activism and you see a group called the Neturei Karta they are not your friends. they are a hate group. I've talked about them quite a bit on this page but for those who don't know the Neturei Karta are a religious fringe group in the Jewish community known for being one of the most prolific hate groups within Judaism also as you can see here they are very well known for being fervently anti Israel and many politicians and activists have endorsed them and met with them however much like their Christian foil the evangelical movement their disavowment of the state of Israel is not actually activist motivated rather religiously motivated Fundamentally the Neturei Karta believe in the abolishment of Israel but not because they believe Zionism is wrong but rather because they believe in order for the Meschiah or Messiah to return all Jews must be expelled from the region It's also worth noting that while the Neturei Karta will often say the right things to get access to activist spaces as well as key politicians such as when they famously met with AOC, it takes very little digging to discover just how extreme their beliefs are including regularly spouting typical antisemitic talking points when I said they were a hate group I meant it they've made it very clear in the past that they would be pro nuking the entire region if it meant expelling all Jews from the Lavant there are countless Jewish people who are pro Palestinian liberation especially in the west there is no need to rely on a literal hate group for your endorsement of Palestine
