I have started building a new movie list titled, "You're Miserable."

I have started building a new movie list titled, "You're Miserable." As in, if you don't like these movies, you're miserable. You're no fun to be around. If you just met someone for the first time, drop some of these movies as a gauge as to whether or not they're miserable. Speed or Point Break, you can't go wrong with either of these 90s action movies, unless you're miserable. If you haven't seen The Harder They Fall first, go watch it, but if you don't like it, you're either miserable or you're in a different bucket of people that I don't want to be around. I might give the pass to anyone under 16 years old because they just don't get it, but if you don't like Back to the Future, what are you missing? I feel like if I made a list of 15 of the best rom-coms, a lot of people could poke holes in all of those movies except one, and that's About Time. This movie is funny, it's cute, and it packs an emotional punch that you do not expect. Next up, we got Good Will Hunting. I'm not saying you have to have this in your top 10 movies of all time, but to say that it's not good is a whole another ball game. Say it with me everyone, you are miserable. At my three spot, I've got Remember the Titans. I encourage anyone, go on Letterboxd and read some of the reviews, you'll find a lot of pretentious people, you'll find a lot of miserable people. For the people expecting Malcolm X from a Disney produced football movie, I can't help you. At my two spot, I use this one specifically for people my age or in my age range, but National Treasure. If you can't have any fun watching Nick Cage steal the Declaration of Independence, I can't help you. You're miserable. And at my one spot, I have never met anyone that didn't like this movie. Most people that have seen it love it. So if you're the first person to not like it, well, you know what I'm going to say to you. You are miserable if you do not like Knives Out.
