CLAUDE CODE SOURCE CODE LEAK

Somebody had an oopsie. Somebody had an oopsie. No, I'm not talking about my toddler. I'm talking about the person anthropic that accidentally leaked the entire source code of Claude Code. Let's talk about what it means. Anthropic, the company that powers the most powerful AI tools on the planet today. Somebody there accidentally leaked the entire source code of Claude Code. Claude Code, their flagship product that everyone wants to get their hands on, all their competitors. Yeah, it's on the internet for everybody now. 500,000 lines of code and roughly 1900 files. All for everyone. You can download it. Yeah. So what actually leaked customer information? No. It's the agentic harness that powers the entire platform. This is embarrassing because it gives all the competitors the exact code on how to build a competitor platform. And even worse now you can reverse engineer and find how you can exploit guardrails on the platform now that you know exactly how the platform is built. And this isn't the first problem. They had a problem earlier this week. They accidentally made 3000 files public for everyone. And yeah, they are using Claude Code to build Claude code and perhaps this is an example of the guardrails that you need to put on your own product. Spokesperson says from Anthropic that no customer data was leaked. So that's a good thing. But their entire flagship product is on the internet for everyone to download. Guarantee you Open AI and the Chinese platforms are now alright, how do we build Claude code now because now that we have all their source files, so very interesting. What's going to happen? Well, nothing but we're going to see some competitors come online and I mean, if you want to download it, you can download it too. It's on the internet and everyone can have Claude code. But yeah, I mean, they're running so many updates that the new version of it is probably going to be shipped super fast. So that's what I would imagine we're going to see.
