Do you think that they were worried that tomorrow about half of them would cancel? Imagine losing a half a billion dollars in one day. That's what had Anthropic worried today because ChatGPT 5.6 is good. Fable is good. But why would I pay for something if ChatGPT 5.6 is included in my paid plan? The model wars continue. This is a win in the OpenAI column, definitely. So before you burn out your Claude Max account, understand Fable 5 is going to be available for another week, and hopefully longer.
