Hey, I'm Hannah
I've saved a £32K+ house deposit
Yet, I am still renting.
and if I'm brutally honest, I don't have any plans to buy a house anytime soon.
I saved for my house deposit in my early 20s, and now I'm 26, so naturally, the plan was to find a partner and buy a house, all before 30.
But if I'm being really transparent, I couldn't be any further from that life right now
(and that's ok!!)
Before you say it, I know a lot of people will be reading thinking, “Why are you renting? It’s dead money?”
And whilst I do understand that to an extent, as a 26-year-old girly, I don't know where I want to settle down long term.
I value the flexibility to explore different opportunities, live in a new city, and travel, all without feeling the pressure to put down roots.
(And again, that's ok!!)
I can't be the only one who feels this way :)
little me would have loved who I've
become, and in the end, that is all that
really matters.
