Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
And I thought we don't actually talk on here about the raw and honest things that actually took me to get here. This isn't quick five tips on how to build a six-figure portfolio. Genuinely, the raw honest truth of what it took me by 26 years old. And I just want to quickly say, take this inspiration. I'm not financial advice. I'm not qualified. This isn't financial advice. Okay, the first thing that I did is I researched three. I researched three really important pillars, right? Those three pillars just set it all up for me. First, stocks and shares ISA. If this is sounding like another language, just go and research it. Stocks and shares ISA, I really understood what this was and what this meant for me. Secondly, index funds. I just understood exactly fund, what an index fund was. And then the third thing, what was the third thing? Compound interest. Really understanding the power of compound interest. You'll almost certainly completely flip your mindset. If you can understand you're start the investing. Okay, the next thing I did, and this sounds really basic, right? But it genuinely, genuinely is huge in your saving and investing journey. And that is keeping your expenses as low as possible. This is really like the make or break. Like if you're getting out a car finance for 200, 300 pounds a month, when you could be investing that, that's huge. Like, that's not a small thing. And it's all these little debits, direct debits that were setting up, it all adds up. I'm sure I had minimal outgoing. The third thing, and I know a lot of people don't have the luxury to do this, living at home. And I know people won't wanna share that, but honestly, living at home, probably one of the biggest wealth building you can do. And I know not everyone has this luxury to have, you know, to move out. But I lived at home until 24, like, rent. Not rent, like not even paying any rent, you're never gonna have a chance again, mortgage, kids, like, but honestly, this is like the one of the wealthiest times for you and you're going to be able to save the most many and do it by young age and time in the market with investing is so key. So if you can live at home, save what you can, this is probably like the best hack out of all of them. This video is already way too long. So if you want a part two, let me know because I literally have a list of more things that help me build wealth. I feel like I'm just scratching the surface. So let me know if you want to know more and I'll share it with you.
