If you have access to Microsoft Copilot at work and you have not yet created your first agent, here is the first one you should set up, which will take you less than two minutes and help you draft emails that sound exactly like you and not ChatGPT. The first step is you are going to come into Copilot and you are going to ask it to create you your own personal writing and style guide that sounds like you and you are going to specifically ask it to prevent any AI habits, over-explaining, hedging, filler, etcetera. In order to do this, you are going to ask it to pull the last 20 emails that you have sent and use those to help you create your personal writing and style guide. There is a really good Wikipedia page about this if you guys want to check it out, it is called Signs of AI writing and you can use this to update your style and writing guide if you like. The next step is you are going to come into Copilot and you are going to select create an agent and then you are just going to describe to Copilot what type of agent you are trying to create. In this case, we are trying to create an agent that will help us write emails and draft reports using specifically our own style so we do not sound like AI. You are going to then upload that document that you just downloaded that has your style and writing guide and then you are going to press create. Once it is created, you are going to notice you come into the configure section and it is all pre-filled out for you. You are just going to basically double check that it has your style and writing guide attached and then also if you want to connect it to your emails, you can do that as well. Then you are just going to chat with the AI and get it to draft a few subjects or a couple emails, see if it works, see if it sounds like you. If it does, great, press create in the top right hand corner and your agent is built.
