You might have just unlocked superpowers if you have access to Microsoft Copilot at work because last month Microsoft quietly upgraded millions of its users who even had the most basic Copilot chat function. I just did this video on this and I talked about how you might now have access to business context in your Copilot chat. But you might also have access to build agents directly in Copilot. So if you've never built an agent before, this is a really good opportunity to do it really easily. Copilot has built this directly into their most basic functions now. So you're just going to go into Copilot, go up to the agent builder, new agent and just describe what you're trying to build or you can configure it manually. So what is an agent? An agent is basically just an AI system that has predetermined instructions and knowledge sources and sometimes tools. So in Copilot you can give it specific knowledge for example, a file on your computer that has customer information or whatever you wanted to have access to. And then you're gonna preset instructions that it's going to use every single time you prompt that specific chatbot. The right again, you can just type in what you wanted to do and it's going to use those instructions and that knowledge source to accomplish your task. This is a really simple explanation of agents, but if you've never built one before, this is a really good way to jump in and see what you can build. Um, really simple use cases, but at the end of the day, this is probably way more than you guys were using with Copilot before.
