If you're using Microsoft Copilot at work and you have not yet built your first custom agent because maybe you find it a little bit confusing or daunting, don't worry, there's a hidden feature that Microsoft quietly upgraded last month that is almost as effective as a custom agent but requires zero technical experience and is way easier to set up. The feature that I'm talking about is called Notebooks. If anybody's ever used NotebookLLM through Gemini, it's very similar. It's a place where you can upload roughly 100 documents into one specific project and you can speak directly to that chat and it'll only reference those files. So for example, you were to upload a data source, an Excel file, a PowerPoint presentation, a bunch of PDFs all related to one specific project, you can then speak to the notebook and you can even ask it to create custom PowerPoint presentations or data analysis based off those files. This is super, super, super useful for any knowledge worker out there who has tons of different files. They're all scattered all over the place and you wanna put everything in one spot and be able to ask questions directly to those files. You should really check out Notebooks.
