Put £100 into a stocks & shares ISA, and keep doing that every month. I know it seems small and insignificant now, but it can grow to big things. If you've seen any of my videos on compound growth, you will know just how big that can grow. It can make you millions if you start young. If you can't put away £100, just do whatever you can, £50, just starting that muscle of learning to invest and saving money will serve you really well in the future. Understand inflation. Essentially, if you have a basket of goods that's worth £100 today, that basket of goods will be worth, say, £105 pounds in the future. And so that means if you have £100 now, it doesn't have the same purchasing power as it does in the future. And that's why people don't, you know, keep money in your current account, you want to keep it in a high interest account because that means at least earning and keeping inflation, enjoy spending some money. Put some money aside to spend and actually enjoy spending it because you want to foster a good relationship with money and that means spend some of it. Learn how credit cards work. If you borrow £1,000 pounds and pay back £999 pounds of it, they will charge you interest on the £1 you haven't paid back. Turns out they will charge you interest on the full £1,000. And that's why it is so important to pay your credit card off in full every month. I learned this from Martin Lewis and I was shocked.
