An AI engineer just turned 12 years of his relationship into an AI generated interactive story. And the way that he did this is pretty cool. This guy built a project called The Shape of Us and he basically fed AI his entire relationship history. He fed the AI 12 years of text, emails, photos, voice notes, and even calendar events. He reportedly built custom pipelines to organize all of the data first because you can imagine how messy 12 years of conversations would be. After that, the AI analyzed everything and started identifying major life moments, relationship patterns, inside jokes, important memories, and emotional turning points and turned all of this into interactive timelines, visual memory maps, and personalized stories about their relationship. Basically an AI generated documentary about their life together. This is one of the first AI projects that I've seen where the real magic isn't the model, but the amount of context that you give it. No human could realistically go back through 12 years of data and connect those dots manually, but AI can.
