I wanted to build a second brain, but it seemed like a lot of setup. So I searched for starter kits so I don't have to start from scratch. First one I found is a PKM or personal knowledge management system. I like how it's based around your goals, starting with a three-year vision, yearly goals, monthly goals, all the way down to the day, and the AI helps hold you accountable. Second one I found called Claudsidian is cool because it uses the PARA method. It stands for projects, areas, resources, and archives, and it's like the OG second brain setup. I like that everyone's getting into software now because the open source community is thriving.
