Part 6 of making an app. So last time I implemented payments so that people could buy different timer animations for the focus timer app. This time I had to make a way to keep track of who purchased what. If you log in you have to know if you purchased the premium animation or not. That meant I had to keep track of that in the database. It also means you have to keep track of state on the front end. This is like can be more of an advanced programming concept and there's a lot of different solutions that you can go with. I know Flutter has Provider, Riverpod, and Bloc solutions and this is really where it gets into hey what is your app doing in order to determine which solution is going to be right. I ended up going with the Provider solution, probably the most popular one, but it's a lot of fun to get into learn this stuff and just see how much faster it makes development once you do implement this state management properly. It makes updating the app and adding new things a lot easier. Next time I'm going to get into building out more features of the app. So follow for part 7.
