For those of you asking about Fidelity ETFs, this one is for you. I have been investing for years and there is a fund that I own that charges me literally zero dollars to hold it. Not low, not cheap. Zero. FZROX. Fidelity's Zero Total Market Index Fund. The expense ratio is 0.00%. You pay nothing to own it. It tracks the entire stock market. 2,700+ and more large, mid, and small cap. All of it in one fund. Historically, it has returned around 10% per year before inflation with dividends reinvested. So I did the math. A fund charging 0.5% versus zero on $50,000 over 30 years. That fee alone can eat up around $40,000 of your over time. For doing the exact same thing. The only catch is FZROX is only available on Fidelity. You cannot buy it anywhere else.
