In my personal opinion, I think that the insurance industry is going to have a huge gap in agency ownership in the next few years. So I really started to notice the more that I went to networking events for insurance, that I was typically one of the youngest people in the room that actually owned their own agency, right? Most of the people have owned their agencies for 20 years, 30 years, 40 years. So what happens when you're ready to retire? You have to sell your book of business. So where this gap is that there's not a lot of younger insurance agency owner, but they just work for companies, they don't own their own agency. So when this older generation is ready to retire, there's really not going to be a lot of people for them to sell their agencies to. So if you're currently thinking about starting your own insurance agency, this is probably one of the best times to get into it because you still have time to learn how to run your agency, how to market your agency, you still have time to kind of figure things out right before all these other agents start to sell their books of business. This is also not just for independent agents. There is a lot of captive agency, State Farm, all State, that are also going to be going through this huge shift, um, in the industry. So if agency ownership either on the independent side or the captive side is something that you have thought about, then this is your sign to start looking into agency ownership.
