Should YOU invest in SpaceX?

Hey Viv, should we be investing in SpaceX? I heard it's going public? My guy friends cannot stop talking about it. Baby, I'm gonna when I say your guy friends are getting duped. Everybody thinks that the SpaceX IPO is going to be the hottest party, but your friends are not party guests, they're party favors. Private investors bought in years ago and they've been sitting on this equity for like a decade and now they want to cash out and suddenly retail investors to participate. Yeah, you're gonna participate in holding the numbers. SpaceX saw revenue growth of 15% in the first quarter of 2026, but losses those were up 700% year over year. And they're trying to convince everybody that this company is worth 107 times sales. For context, Meta went public at 28 times sales. They had 88% revenue growth. Yikes. And did I mention that SpaceX is reserving 30% of its shares for retail investors? That's three times what normal IPOs typically set aside for everyday investors. Musk and his cronies literally think that his stans are going to invest whether or not it's actually a good investment. And they frankly think regular people are too stupid to know. Regular people think they're finally getting access, but in reality, you are just some rich guy's exit strategy. Honest. They got in when there was a lot more value to be. Also while I have you, the thing that's really irritating me is gonna be SpaceX is going to be listed on the Nasdaq and thanks to Nasdaq's new fast entry pathway, SpaceX is likely to be added to major indexes a lot sooner than a newly public company typically would. It's kind of like knowing a promoter at the club and being able to cut the line, but that's bad for us consumers because index funds hold a lot of stocks that mirror these benchmark indexes and index funds are a huge part of your 401k, a pension plan, maybe your retirement account. So if SpaceX gets added to major indexes after its IPO, the funds in your retirement account might automatically buy those SpaceX shares and regular people could end up being the rescue boat for Elon Musk's currently unprofitable company, never intentionally bought SpaceX themselves.
