The most disgustingly rich people of the future are content creators. And in this video, I'm going to give you a crash course on the creator economy and tell you how creators are going to have a real shot at generational wealth through equity partnerships. ERA 1: BRAND DEALS The first era of the creator economy was heavily dependent on creators getting brand deals. This is where we would advertise the products of companies that gave us large amounts of money in the short term, but gave us no real upside in the long term. We're essentially just building other people's businesses. ERA 2: CREATOR FOUNDERS This led to the second era of the creator economy, which was creators creating their own brands and intellectual property that didn't depend on a moody algorithm. We as creators realized that if we had 100 true supporters, a direct way to communicate, we could have a sustainable income as a creator. ERA 3: EQUITY PARTNERS But the era we're entering where creators are about to have a legitimate chance to combine both their social capital and actual capital to invest in private companies or even form long-term partnerships internally is going to potentially be the real chance at generational wealth. Companies are realizing that creators have the number one business asset, which is trust that we're continuously communicating with. Instead of spending all of their marketing budget on a thousand different creators, why not invest in a single creator who is genuinely passionate about the company because they like the product, but they're also an investor. Creator angel investing companies are being created. The Alex Earls of the world are playing integral roles in the success of companies like Poppi. These opportunities are currently for massive creators, but this will trickle down to micro creators who have capital ready to deploy and have a very niche audience that attacks in the sales funnel.
