When we first started cleaning homes we used the traditional bucket and mop method just like everyone else! But it didn't take long for us to realize that that was completely wrong! with the bucket and mop system... you're using the same mop head throughout the whole house! and that means... you're moving grime and dirty water from one room to another! Very unhygienic! SO! We started looking for a better way and that's when we switch to microfiber pads! Here's how we do it! We start by getting several clean microfiber pads damp with water! Then, we fill a spray bottle with a diluted floor cleaner Attach a clean pad to our flat mop and get to work! We lightly spray the floor as we go! One thing we love is the fact that the flat mop can reach corners... and tight spaces that regular mops miss! As we clean... the microfiber grabs dirt and holds on to it instead of just pushing it around the floor! When it gets dirty... that pad goes straight into our laundry bag! and we grab a clean one! That way we're always cleaning with a fresh pad instead of spreading dirty water around the house! We keep going room by room... until the floors are... PRISTINE! and because we're not soaking the floors with water it is also safer for hardwood and other delicate surfaces! We use the same method on tile... hardwood...
