Toyota has built something far bigger than a new piece of technology. It has built an entire city designed for a future where robots, AI and humans live side by side. Called Woven City, it sits at the base of Mount Fuji and acts as a real-world laboratory where autonomous vehicles, smart homes and robotic systems are tested in everyday life. The streets are split into separate paths for self-driving vehicles, pedestrians and smaller mobility machines, while the homes are packed with sensors designed to monitor health, movement and emergencies in real time. What makes this so important is that Toyota is no longer testing a single robot in isolation. It is testing what happens when an entire city is built around machines from the ground up.
