A common objection I hear from realtors is: “What about the due on sale clause.” This is a valid point but I have a fix. The due on sale clause can only be called if they house sells. If we were to place the property into a trust and add me on as an owner, the house never sold. The original owner stays on only in name (no control) while I am now the decision maker and owner of the trust that owns the property. Rather than a sale, they’ve added another owner without entirely leaving the trust. Within the terms of the trust we write in that I am the only one allowed to collect profit from the trust and make decisions for it. I have never run into the due on sale clause with either structure. #realestate #homebuyer #dreamhouse #realestateinvesting #wholesalinghouses
