A kid knocked on my door yesterday, a 15-year-old yesterday. I was live on TikTok and I hear my doorbell ring. I go upstairs and it's a kid. He looks like he's anywhere from 14 to 16 years old, super nervous, practically shaking. He tries to pitch me something and I'm like, hey man, I'm in the middle of something right now, I gotta go, I'm sorry. But I go back upstairs and he's left me a note. This is the note and I'll read it aloud. It says, hey there, my name is Nery. This might come off a little strange, but I love your house and I was wondering if in exchange for my free labor, that includes lawn care, washing your cars, roof cleaning and basically any chores you want me to do, then in exchange for that, you could mentor me and teach me what and how you did what you did to get where you are now. Let me know. Now, I am a content creator, specifically a real estate content creator and for context, this is the house that I purchased on my 23rd birthday. I flip houses, I wholesale real estate and I make videos about how you can do the same. And uh, I'm gonna give bro a shot. This message kind of resonated with me. It reminds me of something that I would have done when I was his age. I used to go door-to-door and ask people if I could wash their windows in this very neighborhood. So like, I'm just offering like literally like anything, like whatever you want me to do, like, um, like maybe pressure wash your driveway or like clean your roof, anything in exchange for like, not money but like knowledge, you know, just to, like, I, I guess, free to mentor me and like, your, like what you do, whatever you do, you know? That was a lot like the stuff that I did as a kid and, um, you know what? We have had a plethora of 12-year-olds complete deals. Actually, that's not true. We've had one 12-year-old complete a deal and a plethora of people anywhere from 14 to 17 completing wholesale deals.
