HOW TO KEEP FABLE 5 (FOREVER)
Fable is on loan. Skills are yours.
1. Have long chats with Fable 5 (solving hard tasks).
2. Prompt at the end of that chat:
Write my CLAUDE.md files - standing instructions
every future chat obeys, on any model. Study this
folder, then interview me: 8 questions max, one at a
time. Write 3 files: main folder, this project, one
subfolder if truly needed. Specific. Under 200
lines. No rule twice. Show me each before saving.
Write for a model less sharp than you.
3. Before Jul 13: have Fable write your file.
4. After Jul 13: Opus runs them daily. Free.
Pay for the brain once.
Keep what it built forever.

HOW TO PROMPT FABLE 5
1
THE REASON why you're asking
"I'm working on [X] for [who it's for].
They need [what the output enables]."
2
THE GOAL the outcome, not the steps
"Goal: [outcome]. Here's everything I know:
[context]."
3
THE INTERVIEW you have what's missing
"Before you start, ask me everything you
need to get this right."
4
THE BOUNDARY what it may and may not touch
"Do the simplest thing that works. Only
pause for me on irreversible actions."
5
THE PROOF kills the fake "all done!"
"Only report work you can point to evidence
for. Lead with the outcome."
= THE FULL PROMPT
"I'm working on [X] for [who]. Goal: [outcome].
Here's what I know: [context]. Before you start,
ask me what you need. Do the simplest thing that
works, pause only on irreversible actions. Report
only what you can prove, outcome first."
