FRIDAY - routine -

Here’s how my Friday morning looked from 04:45-07:30… Took a little while to warm myself up after a restless night’s sleep - I’d planned on being on the treadmill by 05:30 so I could fit a full hour in before moving onto the weights. But I ended up about 10 mins behind - rather than the planned easy 10k I did 8k. Heart rate was in zone 2 still, but I found myself feeling really sick - perhaps the poor sleep, perhaps from having a large dinner still on my stomach from last night - whatever it was it didn’t feel too comfortable. The heat in the gym certainly didn’t help either. I moved onto upper body hypertrophy. I left extra rest between each set as I was feeling fatigued. That mean skipping a couple of the stations due to lack of time before having to get the kids up for school. Finished up with 10 mins at 100 degrees in the sauna. Not every plan will go to plan. But it’s ok. If you show up regardless, at least you can say you tried. Happy Friday folks, the weekend has landed. Make it count. 🤝 #r#Runningr#runnerr#runlifer#runningmotivationfitTok
