Unboxing and first run the adidas Adizero Evo SL - Cloud White / Core Black ⚪️⚫️ Part of my Berlin Marathon 2027 kit drop from @Start Fitness and @adidas 🙏 I’m a fan of the Evo SL - it’s a shoe I recommend to friends looking for a solid all-round option. I’ve got the Solar Yellow, and had a black pair before that (although in my excitement to get them on release I picked up a size 12.5, which is half a size too small - sizing is fairly snug anyway and so I had some toenail “issues” in that first pair sizing was slightly off). The Evo SL was voted by many as the all-round shoe of the year in 2025, and at a price point of £130 RRP (although now often deals out there to be had!) it’s easy to see why. You’re getting race-shoe cushioning technology (LIGHTSTRIKE Pro) in a shoe that sits well below the super shoe price bracket. Specs: - Weight: ~224g (men’s UK 8.5) - Stack: 39mm heel / 33mm forefoot - Drop: 6mm - Midsole: Lightstrike Pro - Outsole: Continental rubber for grip - Use: fast training, tempo, long runs Versatile enough to handle everything from easy days to race-adjacent efforts. Not a carbon plate shoe, but it doesn’t need to be. The midsole does enough of the work on its own. What do you think of the clean white and black colourway…??
