I am six months pregnant and I think I've been dodging something this entire time that most women deal with. And you guys know I do not gatekeep, so let me explain. What I did not know about pregnancy sleep is that your body runs almost 3.6 degrees warmer on average than it used to. And it tends to be what can keep a lot of pregnant women up during the night feeling uncomfortable, restless, unable to sleep. And I have to say, I have not had one of those nights, not one time. What I'm realizing is that so far I have not noticed this body change at all because my bed has been handling it. I have had my Eight Sleep pod for years now. It's a smart mattress cover that I'm not sure my husband and I could live without. It automatically heats and cools each side of the bed during the night in order to optimize for your best sleep. But recently they added pregnancy mode, which is free with my membership. And as you can see here, I just loaded in all of the information so it knows exactly where I am in my pregnancy. So I then wake up to information like this every morning, which is super helpful. So the pod is throughout the night adjusting the temperature on my side based on exactly where I am in my pregnancy. Because what your body needs at 12 weeks versus say 32 is completely different. When I say my sleep in pregnancy has been amazing, this is literally my why. You can officially add it to the list of things you don't know you need until you have. And you can use my code WELLNESS at eightsleep.com/wellness for a discount. Pregnancy mode is included free with your Eight Sleep membership.
