Workplace. They do not like competence and confidence. They want sheep. And if you're that person that speaks up against things that aren't right in the workplace, you call out the BS. As I did in my last job, I'd put my head up and say, I do not agree with that. No, I'm absolutely not on board with doing that or whatever it might be. You get labeled the trouble maker. You get labeled the employee that is never willing to do as you are told. And they use that, that confidence and that confidence of yours where you're able to think for yourselves and they turn that into you are not willing to do as you are told. And that's when you start seeing the performance reviews come in. They start leaning you towards HR. They start taking down notes. They start singling you out from your other co-workers who are willing to do as you are told. But that's the problem. You get this target on your back. You raise the issues. They want feedback. You give honest feedback. You call out the BS. It's just totally backwards. And if you are that individual that was like me in the workplace, where you weren't willing to be bent over and absolutely shafted and given a new Adam's apple. You probably have entrepreneurial qualities. And you want to start exploring those rather than building someone else's dream. I promise you, the grass is greener when you start building something for yourself. And I would say to any of you listening that do get labeled the trouble co-worker, employee, it's not a bad thing. It's because you're not willing to pretend to be someone else or alter ego. Keep doing you. But honestly, take my word for it. Start building something for yourself. Honestly, do it. By the way, you can take a free readiness quiz in my bio to actually tell you where you are in terms of are you ready to embark on entrepreneurship. The link is in my bio. It takes less than 30 seconds but it'll give you a good report on where you are should be building something for yourself. But if you are the trouble co-worker, employee, as I was, it's not a bad thing. It's because you're not willing to pretend to be someone else or alter ego.
