Samsung Unpacked drops Wednesday and we already know everything. Three new foldables, Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8. Here's the full breakdown before the event. The first one is the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and this is not the next version of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It's got a confusing naming convention because this will be the wide flip phone. This will have a Snapdragon Elite 8 Gen 5 processor with 12 gigabytes of RAM, starting storage at 256 gigabytes, a main display at 7.6 inches and a cover display at 5.5 inches, and three cameras of a 50 megapixel primary lens, a 50 megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10 megapixel selfie lens. Why have a wider fold? It's to rival the upcoming iPhone Ultra, Apple's first ever folding iPhone. The next one is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and they added the word Ultra even though it's just the next generation of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. This phone gets a Snapdragon Elite 8 Gen 5 processor with either 12 gigabytes or 16 gigabytes of RAM depending on which variant you get. It'll start storage at 256 gigabytes with the main display of 8 inches and a cover display of 6.5 inches, so it'll be longer than the Z Fold 8. It'll also have three cameras: a 200 megapixel wide, 50 megapixel ultra-wide, and 12 megapixel telephoto, in addition to the three selfie cameras. Last but not least, Samsung will also debut the Galaxy Z Flip 8. This phone will have a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz inner display, a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED outer display. The international variant will have the Exynos 2600, 10-core, up to 3.8 gigahertz. If you get the US version, you'll still have the Snapdragon Elite 8 Gen 5, 12 gigabytes of RAM, 256 gigabytes or 512 gigabytes of storage, two rear cameras: 50 megapixel main (OIS) + 12 megapixel ultrawide, selfie camera 10 megapixel, battery 4,300 mAh, wired charging 45W, wireless charging Supported (speed TBD), weight 180g. Colors: Graphite, Cream, and Purple. This phone will come with three colors: Graphite, Cream, and Purple. Samsung will also debut some other items.
