Apple just dropped these new iPhone features in iOS 27. beta 3! Let's take a look at that. Not only can you change your Siri voice, but you can also customize it by adjusting the pace and expressivity. But there's one caveat, it only works on the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max because this feature requires at least 12 gigabytes of RAM. You can now customize adaptive mode on your AirPods Pro 3 just the way you like it. So you could move it towards transparency where you could hear those outside noises, and this is convenient when you're walking outside and you want to hear people in cars, all the way up to noise cancellation where you don't hear a lot of the outside noises. When you swipe down, you could pull your wallpaper either in front of or behind your active app context. This layering system could be handy if you want to preserve what you were working on. Once you install the update, you could also unlock new features with Siri in camera mode. Visual Lookup: Pointing the camera at objects lets you ask Siri to identify plants, animals, landmarks, or food. Calorie Tracking: Scanning a plate of food can automatically approximate nutritional information and calorie counts. Actionable Scanning: Pointing at a restaurant pulls up its Apple Maps listing, hours, and reviews, while scanning flyers adds events directly to your Calendar. Bill Splitting: Scanning a physical receipt activates immediate math tools to calculate individual shares among friends. Google Images Shortcut: The viewfinder interface includes a dedicated button on the right to jump directly into a Google Image search for whatever you are framing. This allows you to do some pretty handy things like visual lookup where you can point your camera at an object and identify your plant or animal. You could take a picture of your food and identify the amount of calories in there. You could do actionable scanning where you take a picture of a poster and it adds it to your calendar. You could even do things like bill splitting where you take a photo of a receipt and it could split the bill for you. The Siri app also came out for watch OS. So if you want to install on your Apple Watch, you could install the beta version, but I do want to warn you, if you install this version, it's too buggy, you cannot go back to the previous version, you have to wait until watch OS 27 is released publicly.
