Ariana Grande bring these back. Ariana Grande and R.E.M. Beauty have been teasing an unreleased eyeshadow on the Eternal Sunshine Tour. And then there's one coming out this holiday season that we've been using a lot on tour that you've been asking a lot about. And it got me wondering, could they be revisiting one of the most forgotten R.E.M. Beauty products ever made? Remember these? From chapter two of R.E.M. Beauty, some of my favorite products would have to be our Midnight Shadows Metallic Gel Eyeshadow pots. I love to use them on my lids, but also on my chest or my cheek. The Midnight Shadow Gel Eyeshadow pots. Our midnight shadows metallic gel pots. I love to use them on my lids, but also on my chest or my cheek. These are the Midnight Shadow Gel Metallic Eyeshadow. They launched back in March 2022 as part of R.E.M. Beauty's second collection. Unlike the liquid eyeshadows, these came in glass pots with a bouncy gel-like formula. R.E.M. described them as ultra fine with star-like pigments that created a multidimensional metallic finish. You could wear them alone or you can layer them over powder shadows. There were only five shades named after the love languages, and I have Tatch, which is an icy mint gel. I'm just applying REM powder on the lid. All right, I'm going to go on with a little brush. Oh, that's beautiful, isn't it? Bitch. Oh my goodness. This the lid is divine. Honestly, these feel very early right? Futuristic, bold, futuristic, very editorial. So when R.E.M. Beauty said that she was wearing an unreleased REM shadow on her lid, my brain thought, "Well, could these back?" Why not the gel formula? Because here's what I found interesting. These did not get a replacement. Ariana Grande and R.E.M. Beauty are known for updating formulas. The plumping lip glosses, the palettes, the liquid eyeshadows. These just disappeared and they really announced they were discontinued. Look, looking at the brand today, it makes sense that these currently are not there. The brand has shifted towards products that are good for the everyday user, right? A little pot of metallic shadow was fun, but arguably a little niche. So while I don't think Ariana is wearing revived gel eye paints, I actually love to see them revisit this category with today's formulas, especially in an anniversary capsule collection. Because I honestly think this is one of the most creative products they ever released. But I still them back for the plot. What do you think Ariana Grande's unreleased eyeshadow is? And did you ever own one of these first?
