Send this to someone who’d make this for you 🥰 Full recipe 👇🏼 Banana dosa ( Balehannu dosa) is a slightly sweet dosa which is so delicious as it has that beautiful blend of a banana, ghee and jaggery. ( think banana bread!) It smells heavenly too. Adjust the sweetness as per what you desire , I personally like it mild sweet! ( the black areas are due to the jaggery and completely normal ❤️) (Note- This recipe has been shared from my family's kitchen and personal experience over the years. If you recreate or share it, I'd appreciate a credit to @handfulofflour. ) 🍃☘️ 2 small cups dosa rice ½ cup fresh coconut ½ cup jaggery (adjust to taste) 3 medium ripe bananas (or 4–5 if small) mashed A pinch of salt Ghee for frying the dosa Steps Soak the rice for a few hours, then grind it with coconut, jaggery, mashed bananas, and salt into a smooth, thick batter of consistency shown in the video ( pourable) Set aside for at least 4–5 hours, or overnight, to lightly ferment. The batter should be slightly thick but pourable, as shown in the video. (The black areas are due to the jaggery, which is expected.) Once ready, pour onto a hot tawa just like a dosa, add a good amount of ghee to cook until golden, and serve with a spicy red chutney. #southindianbreakfast #healthyindianrecipes #indianbreakfast #vegetarianindianfood #karnatakafood
