Jackfruit recipes coming your way 🤭 How to cut a jackfruit without losing your sanity 😭 - Oil your hands really well with coconut oil (trust me) - Oil the knife too because the gum is SO sticky - Use a sharp knife… unlike me 🥲 - Keep newspaper or coconut fibres nearby to wipe the sticky gum off the knife - Cut the jackfruit into half - Wipe the gum from the centre of each half and the extra that oozes out. - Then cut each half again into smaller sections - Pull out the yellow fruit pods with your hands. -Remove the white stringy fibres and seeds from each piece If the fruit still has sticky gum on it, lightly oil your fingers and peel it away gently - Try not to get emotionally attached to the amount of cleanup waiting for you after 😭 -store in the fridge in an airtight container.
