Moving to San Diego Guide. Here is what I would recommend if I was moving to downtown a year ago with all the knowledge that I have now of living in high-rises. First thing, avoid every single building in East Village. And yes, I am mainly talking about Pinnacle and Spire. If you don't know, it's the red and yellow towers. You can Google the Reddit stories. I'm not going to give them to you, but they are bad, and I'm sure the comment section will also provide some. The analogy I always give people is you want to try and be in the corner that is the airport and the bay. The closer you can be towards the water and towards that side of the airport, probably the better the area is going to be. You're going to have less homeless people, you're going to be able to go and enjoy more stuff. It's also just near more things. And in terms of building recommendations, I would say Ariel and Allegro tower if you're on a budget or in a really good location, you can get a lot for what you pay. And then Simone, Lindley, Luma, West, and Tory would be my recommendations if you want them more like high-rise in Little Italy. And for reference, here, I pay in this building about $4,000 a month in rent.
