If you're eating a whole foods diet, this is everything you need every time you go to the grocery store. So the first thing I'm going to want is quality protein. Make sure your eggs are pasture raised. Make sure you're always getting quality chicken, beef, if you're getting beef, grass fed. Try to stay away from deli meats and processed meats like sausages and bacon. You for sure want to get some fruit in there. I like oranges, berries of different variety for antioxidants. The oranges of course have vitamin C, all the essential things we need to keep our body in peak condition. Now we definitely want to get some carbs in there too. It is an important energy source and it is not to be confused with a simple carb. We want to stick with those complex carbs. I love Ezekiel bread. I also love a rice noodle. You can stick these in a bone broth with a bunch of veggies and it is fantastic. And of course and arguably the most important, your veggies. Now most Americans are fibre deficient. Why? Because most Americans are eating a processed foods diet. Most processed foods are completely devoid of fibre. Your most important fibre source is going to be your vegetables. Go ahead and save this for your next grocery trip and if you want something that's a little bit more in depth, I have a grocery guide in the link in my bio that outlines grocery store approved brands, plate guides, as well as a PDF that you could take with you right to the grocery store. I hope this helps and I'll see you soon.
