The secret behind all the hairstyles you see here? A good wash day routine 🎀 With long hair that gets styled often, we focus on protecting her hair from everyday styling, keeping it strong, smooth, and ready for the next hairstyle. Scalp care, strengthening treatments, gentle detangling, and heat protection are the steps we use to help maintain healthy-looking hair from root to ends. Healthy hair first… then all the fun styles✨ We alternate the k18 treatment with other masks, so she uses it about every 2-3 weeks** The products are linked in my LTK. #hairroutine #h#haircarel#longhairh#healthyhairhaircareroutine @Briogeo @K18 Hair @Redken @BIOLAGE

Let's go over my daughter's wash day routine for her long healthy hair from start to finish. We always start with a pre-wash treatment, starting with detangling the hair, working my way from the ends up to the scalp, and making sure to massage that scalp for a minute. Then we're going to apply some of that to the rest of her hair. I like to apply it in sections so that we can evenly distribute the product. Then we're going to add it in a big chunky braid and let it marinate for about 30 minutes. You can definitely let it sit for longer if you would like. Then about 10 minutes before she goes hop in the shower, we're going to add in the scalp sync. I absolutely love this stuff. It helps clean the scalps so well. Then we always do a double shampoo, starting with a detox and then one that helps strengthen the hair. Once she's out of the shower, I towel dry her hair really well before applying the K18 leave-in mass. Once she's out of the shower, I towel dry her hair really well before applying the K18 leave-in mass. We let this sit for 4 minutes. And when we do this, we do not use a conditioner. Then I apply the Redken One United All-In-One Multi-Benefit Treatment followed by the Redken anti-snap. Then I gently detangle her hair with the Unbrush. This is the best brush for damp hair. Separate the hair into a couple of sections, and then we're going to finish with the acidic bonding concentrate treatment to help strengthen, smooth, and protect her hair before blow drying. And that's her complete wash day routine for keeping her long hair soft, shiny, and healthy.
