reminder that investing £100 a month is great and completely normal. I now have over six figures invested but I used to be pretty dumb with money. One of the things that really motivated me was seeing a worked compound growth example and how much your money can grow to. I didn't start investing until my late 20s, I wish I started sooner and I wish someone had told me this. So I'm going to prove to you that investing £100 a month can grow to big things because of compound growth. This is based on you contributing £100 per month and we're going to assume that you had invested like 500, which historically has given returns. We're going to say about 10%. Of course, this is not financial advice or investment recommendation. Do your own research first. Capital is at risk when investing. Past performance does not indicate future performance. As always, this isn't financial advice and you do need to do your own research first because capital is at risk when investing. So you start investing £100 per month, age 20. Nothing more, nothing less. By the time you get to 30, you'd have around £20,000 invested. Pretty good, nothing crazy. By the time you get to 40, you'll have £76,000 invested. By the time you get to 50, you'll have £226,000 invested. By the time you get to 60, you'll have £632,000 invested. That time, you'll have invested nowhere near £632,000 over those years, but that is the power of compound growth. If you like this content, give it for me, like and follow for more from me.
