I grew up in a small town
and from a young age,
I felt like I didn't quite fit into
it...
Set Your Goals...
While everyone around me
was focused on the life in
front of them...
I couldn't stop thinking about
the life that existed
somewhere else.
So I poured that feeling into
discipline.
The gym became one of the
first places I learned that your
future self is built long before
anyone notices it.
Sussex High valedictorian to grads: Be best version of you
I chased achievement
because I thought success
was my ticket out.
Valedictorian. Business
School. Finance Major.
I was doing everything I
thought I was supposed to
do.
School gave me the
opportunity to build a career.
But it didn't teach me how to
build a life I actually wanted.
So I moved to Toronto.
Built a career in executive
search.
And for a while... I thought I
had finally made it.
Until something happened
and I realized...
You can build a life that looks
successful... and still know it
isn't yours.
The longer I worked in
corporate...
The less interested I became
in climbing someone else's
system...
And the more obsessed I became
with building a better one.
One day I decided it was time to
bet on myself...
So I left.
I stopped trying to fit into the
life I thought I should want.
And started building one
that's mine. One that I have
full control over.
Today I live in Miami.
I'm building a recruiting
software company from the
ground up.
And I'm just getting started.
My page is for people who...
refuse to think small.
challenge conventional thinking.
build relentlessly.
believing life is something you
create for yourself.
