My husband's office makeover

My husband's new office is a sad dungeon with no personality, so I decided to surprise him to be redecording it and then volunteered him to help me do all the work. I used chatGPT to help me create the vibe that I knew he would like and just like everything in DIY it's taking longer than expected. So here's part one. We are. We are. Have we ever done a DIY project together? No. Have we ever done pixel wall paper? No. Here's to our first test of marriage. All right. Now. out of a little bit. My husband's paper color is green, so I picked out this green foil grass cloth peel and stick wallpaper from Tim paper. I've never installed while people have any kind, so I watched a few videos, ordered a couple of recommended tools and we just kind of went for it. It took us half an hour to get this first strip hung because we were trying to get this thing as straight as possible, so the rest of the pieces would follow. But walls are wobbly and sometimes you just have to give up on perfection. Hill and stick wallpaper is surprisingly easy and difficult to install at the same time. It's challenging to keep everything straight from one section to the next, but also forgiving to just peel it up and start again, but rust because it's one big sticker and hard to get it to do what you want. The second strip tested our patina and we learned that peel and stick wallpaper is in fact not stretchy. So you cannot make it line up no matter how much you duck at it. But we just covered the mistake with a boot case and called it good. We got into our groove about the fourth section using a little bit of the easy hang spray up the top, overlapping the edge about a quarter of an inch and peeling back and smoothing small sections at a time. It was halfway through the back wall that we realized this office was much bigger than we thought. We used six total rolls of wallpaper and it took us seven hours. So we have to order more and come back next weekend. So we sure to follow along for part two of wallpaper chaos, decorating the office and of course the cost breakdown. We ran on the wallpaper.
