If you book a flight, you might notice that seat 11A is always the most expensive. But why? Well, you might think it's because this seat has the most legroom or the best view, but neither of these are the reason. The real reason is because of what happened. On June 12th, 2025, Air India Flight 171 was flying right over India when it suddenly crashed. And this killed every single one of the passengers, except for one, a singular man who survived, named Vivech. And when investigators looked at his boarding pass, they found that he was sitting in none other than seat 11A. But the craziest part is that this wasn't even the first time that this happened. Back in 1998, another plane crashed where 101 people died and only 45 survived. And one of the only survivors was a famous singer from Thailand who was sitting in seat none other than 11A. So this link has caused people to develop a superstition and buy seat 11A as early as possible, which means that the price for seat 11A goes way faster than every other seat, which means that if you're just a rational person, you can save money on every single flight by not buying seat 11A.
