My friend Todd Stephen Smith was asked for help with a heartbreaking situation in Milam County, Texas. We believe there may be close to 100 dogs on a property known as Dogtown Ranch Sanctuary. Videos and photos have been shared that appear to show dogs living in extremely concerning conditions. According to the owner, the videos are from a disgruntled former employee and are not authentic. Others strongly dispute that claim. These allegations are serious, and we hope they are thoroughly investigated. The owner is taking in money to board dogs. People are leaving their precious babies in this filth while dogs are attacking one another. If dogs are suffering, they deserve immediate help. The Houston Press previously reported on concerns involving Dogtown Ranch and Sanctuary. If you would like to read more about the allegations, please see the article: https://www.houstonpress.com/news/dogtown-sanctuary-or-an-unhappy-ending-for-dogs-sent-to-it/ If you are concerned about the welfare of these animals, please respectfully contact the Milam County Sheriff’s Office and ask that the situation be fully investigated. Milam County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff Mike Clore 📞 254-697-7033 Please remain respectful when calling. Our goal is simple: ensure the welfare of every dog on the property and that any concerns are thoroughly investigated. God bless the dogs. ❤️🐾 #dogs #pets #animals #texas #rescuedog
