💚💚HARLEY HAS NOW BEEN ADOPTED💚💚 🚨 ADOPT/RESCUE – NODAS MED 🚨 ⏰ NEEDS PLACEMENT BY 09/28/26 AT 11AM CST 💗 Harley A0893031 🐾 11 years old ♀️ Spayed Female ⚖️ 56.8 lbs 🦠 Heartworm Negative 📋 Owner Surrender Harley is a senior sweetheart who urgently needs a rescue or foster home. She has lumbosacral spondylosis, which affects her lower spine and causes stiffness and discomfort, along with multiple fatty growths that appear consistent with lipomas. Despite her medical needs, Harley is a gentle girl who appreciates quiet human company. On 9/22, staff were able to enter her kennel and pet her, and she remained calm, mostly relaxing on her bed. 🐾 Medical: • Lumbosacral spondylosis with stiff hindquarters • Multiple fatty growths/lipomas throughout her body • Recent bloodwork was largely normal • X-rays showed no other abnormalities • Currently prescribed Carprofen and Gabapentin for pain/discomfort • Vet recommends removal/biopsy of growths if she is ever under anesthesia for another procedure 💗 Behavior: • Cuddle bug and treat-motivated per owner • Does not get along with cats • Can be an escape artist • Anxious in the shelter environment • On 9/22, she allowed staff into her kennel and accepted pets calmly • In playgroup, she kept to herself and showed little interest in interacting with other dogs; when approached, she could be quick to overcorrect Harley is 11 years old and deserves a soft place to land.
