She can be unsure when first coming out of her kennel, but once she is out, she settles down and shows her calmer side. In playgroup, Angela preferred to stay off to the side and quietly observe rather than jump into the action. She was fearful and kept to herself in the corner. This girl isn’t asking for much. She needs someone who understands that not every dog comes out of their shell immediately. She needs a patient family, foster, or rescue willing to give her the space to decompress, build confidence, and learn that she is finally safe. 💗 🦠 HEARTWORM POSITIVE: Angela tested positive for heartworm. This is treatable, but she needs a rescue, foster, or adopter willing to get her the veterinary care she deserves. 💔 WHY IS SHE AT RISK? Angela was surrendered because her family was moving and their new residence did not allow pets. Now, because the shelter is at capacity, this young dog is at risk of losing her life simply because there is nowhere for her to go. She is only 1 year and 7 months old.
