📣UPDATE 10/1: Camillo was returned to owner. 🚨 ADOPT/RESCUE – NODAS MED 🚨 ⏰ Needs placement by 11AM CST on 10/05/26 🐾 Camillo A1277052 💙 Neutered Male ⚖️ 71.2 lbs 🦟 Heartworm Negative — tested 01/31/26 📍 Stray found on 3000 N Westmoreland Rd, Dallas, TX 75212 🔗 Adopets: https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/045b2c12-9120-4bff-9cae-d94be892dc49 🚨 Camillo is NODAS MED and urgently needs rescue, foster, or adoption. Camillo is a sweet 2-year-old boy who is currently dealing with a nondisplaced transverse fracture of his left distal radius and ulna. He is non-weight-bearing on his left front leg and has swelling around his carpal area. X-rays confirmed the fracture. The veterinary team noted that treatment may only require splinting, but bone plating may also be necessary, depending on the recommended treatment plan. Camillo has already received pain medication and was prescribed Carprofen and Gabapentin for 7 days. He will need continued veterinary evaluation, follow-up care, pain management, and appropriate treatment to give his leg the best chance to heal properly. 🐾❤️ Despite being uncomfortable, Camillo was described as a very sweet pup who allowed handling and petting. He did not want to walk on leash during his recent observation, understandably given his injured leg. 🏠 Camillo needs a safe place where he can rest, receive the medical care he needs, and recover. 💔 This animal is at risk for euthanasia. 📧 ADOPT: dasadopt@dallas.gov 📧 FOSTER: dasfoster@dallas.gov 📧 RESCUE TAG: dasrescue@dallas.gov If you can help Camillo, please email as soon as possible and include a callback phone number so DAS can contact you. 📍 Dallas Animal Services 1818 N.
