POV: you accidentally go on a date while flying ✈️

I was on a plane and this really cute girl sat next to me and as she's sitting down we made eye contact and it's kinda stupid we both kinda smiled and awkwardly kinda blushed at each other and I saw she did this with her hair, she kinda like pulled it behind her ear as she looked down as soon as I saw that I knew I had to say something. I saw she had a book and it was a Harry Potter book so I said "oh are you reading Harry Potter right now?" and she said "[Japanese character] (nani)?" she doesn't speak English bro. So I said "oh I'm sorry I thought you spoke English" and she said "oh I speak a little." so thankfully because we're still waiting for people to board we pulled out our phones and we started talking using the translate apps and it felt more authentic because we couldn't speak the same language but we both were trying to still talk to each other. After we took off I had this idea that we could watch a movie at the exact same time together and I watch in English and she watches in Japanese so I suggested Interstellar and I have these really nice headphones so they're noise cancelling they're soft they're comfortable so I let her use it because I wanted her to get the full experience and I've already watched it so I didn't need it and it's funny because instead of her taking the headphones and putting them on herself she leaned over and put her head into me so I could put the headphones on her and as I put it on her she looked up and said "arigato" she did a little head shake that was so cute. Anyways, we're watching the movie and I fell asleep 10 minutes in because I'm I'm exhausted and I feel her wake me up she hits my shoulder and this is the part where the sad scene where Murph finds out that her dad is is gone and she's crying and the girl she's crying and she says "you didn't tell me it was sad" and I just kinda laughed it off since she already had her hand on my shoulder she grabbed onto it and held onto my arm and she put her head against my shoulder. Thank you God. So I put my head on her head and I fell back asleep after that. The rest of the flight was pretty normal. We just kind of watched a few more shows together. We both slept on each other. Very cute. Finally though after we landed and we had internet, we turned our phones back on and we exchanged Instagrams and she asked me "hey so how old are you?" so I said "hmm how old do you think I am?" and she said "hmm you look older so maybe 20 or 21?" "you think I'm 21?" "oh no I'm older than 21" she said "ew are you like 24?" "24?? oh my god wait how old are you?" "oh I'm 19." "you're you're 19" "oh" "I don't know if we should be talking right now." "why how old are you?" "oh I'm 28" "28??" "what why do you say it like that?" she said "oh is 28 not old in America?" I said "hey I had a really good time on this plane but I feel like we shouldn't be talking." and she said "no no no my older brother is close to your age." "oh how old is your brother?" "he's 23" "that's not the same thing if I was your brother I wouldn't want my sister to be talking to a guy this much older than her." and she said "aww but I wanna go on a date with you I had a lot of fun." and I said "wait what what brings you to America in the first place?" and she said "oh I'm here to do college I'm starting my first year of college" "you're gonna be a freshman in college?" "look we can still exchange Instagrams but I want you to enjoy your college and you're gonna find and meet some great people so we can still exchange Instagrams but I feel like we probably shouldn't talk." So moral of the story make sure you ask people how old they are before you start talking to them. But I'm curious if you were in my shoes what would you do was I weird about that?
