You are not stuck. But you are not ready yet. Here is what to do in the meantime. 1️⃣ Set a exit date in your head even if nobody else knows it. Having a deadline changes how you show up. You stop being a victim of the job and start being someone with a plan. 2️⃣ Update your CV now. Not when you are desperate. Now. While you still have results coming in and context fresh in your mind. 3️⃣ Activate your LinkedIn before you need it. Post, connect, engage. Recruiters need to see you exist before they can find you. 4️⃣ Start having conversations outside your company. Coffee chats, industry events, former colleagues. Plant seeds now so doors are open when you are ready to walk through them. 5️⃣ Identify the one or two skills your next role requires that you do not have yet. Use the time you have left to build them on the job or outside of it. 6️⃣ Save aggressively while you still have income coming in. Three months of expenses in a separate account changes how you negotiate your next offer. You will not accept the first number out of panic. 7️⃣ Stop venting at work. Keep your plan completely private. The fewer people who know you are leaving the more control you keep. 8️⃣ Protect your reputation until the last day. How you leave will be remembered longer than why you stayed. Deliver your best work even when it is hard. 9️⃣ Identify three people from your current company you want to take with you as references or connections. Invest in those relationships now before you hand in your notice. 🔟 Use this season to get clear on what you actually want next. Not just what you are running from. Know what you are running toward before you make the move. Follow @saltandlightcoaching for more 🤍 #careers #careercoach #jobsearch #careeradvice #jobs
